If you’re here, chances are you’re in a season of becoming.
Not the polished, Instagram-highlight version of becoming - but the quiet, uncomfortable, refining kind. The kind where life doesn’t go the way you thought it would. The kind where God starts rebuilding you from the inside out.
That’s where this began for me.
Why I Started This Blog
I didn’t start The Disciplined Woman because I had it all figured out.
I started it because I didn’t.
There was a season of heartbreak that changed me. A season where I had to learn how to walk through grief, disappointment, and uncertainty without losing my faith. I took long walks with my dog and longer walks with God. I journaled through confusion. I wrestled with expectations. I relearned who I was outside of a relationship, outside of plans that didn’t work out.
That season became the foundation for my journal, Walk It Out. But more than that, it became the foundation for discipline.
Not discipline in a rigid, perfectionistic way - but discipline in choosing faith when feelings were loud. Discipline in showing up for my healing. Discipline in rebuilding my life intentionally instead of reactively.
And I realized something:
Strength isn’t loud. Growth isn’t glamorous. Healing isn’t linear. But discipline? Discipline changes everything.
That’s why this space exists.
What You Can Expect Here
The Disciplined Woman is for the woman who wants more than motivation.
It’s for the woman who:
Is healing from heartbreak or disappointment
Wants a deeper, steadier faith
Is learning to trust God in seasons she didn’t choose
Is ready to become emotionally and spiritually stronger
Desires structure, intention, and purpose in her daily life
Here, you’ll find:
Honest reflections about faith and healing
Practical guidance on building discipline in everyday life
Encouragement rooted in Scripture
Conversations about identity, growth, and becoming
Tools and journals designed to help you process and rebuild
This isn’t about being perfect.
It’s about being grounded.
It’s about becoming the kind of woman who stands firm - not because life is easy, but because her foundation is.
My Heart Behind This
I don’t write from a pedestal. I write from process.
I know what it feels like to sit in the middle of a plan that fell apart. I know what it feels like to question what God is doing. I know what it feels like to rebuild quietly while the world keeps moving.
But I also know what it feels like to find peace again. To rebuild confidence. To rediscover joy. To feel spiritually anchored in a way that doesn’t depend on circumstances.
If you’re in that rebuilding season, you are not behind. You are not weak. You are not forgotten.
You are becoming.
And I hope this space feels like a steady place to land while you grow into the disciplined woman you’re meant to be.
Welcome. 🤍
